The Engine
L28 inline six cylinder, 2818cc, flowed head, 10.5 compression, triple 2 barrel side draft carburetors, tuned length 2.5” race headers, stage 3 rally cam. Not a fuel injector or computer in sight!
The Drive Train
OEM 5 speed synchromesh box with heavy duty ceramic twin plate clutch, Limited Slip Differential. CV'd half shafts and 260Z hubs. Traction control not an option.
The Suspension
MacPherson, Chapman strut independent all round, custom adjustable springs and shocks, urethane bushing, adjustable lower wishbones. They still makem like this. Minilite type cast 15” wheels for Targa, 15” 3 piece lightweight spun wheels for Track
The Brakes
4 pot Sumitomo front calipers, with 250mm vented rotors, R30 Skyline rear discs, and hydraulic handbrake. She used to stop good now she stops real good.
