The original 240z had a 2.4litre 6 cylinder engine producing 151bhp, giving the car a top speed of 125mph and 0-60mph time of 8 seconds. Independent suspension at all four corners gave the car handling reserved for track cars. Styling rivaled that of Italian brands and the shape of the original cars still stands out in a crowd nearly 40 years later.
